Our Founder Story

The Visionary Path

Meaningful success requires both structural intent and creative freedom. Bridging the meticulous nature of science with the fluid expression of art, we believe creativity is an abundant resource native to us all. We are here to empower forward-thinkers who are architecting a smarter, more intentional way of living.
The Foundation:

As the founder of the Creativity and Sense Group, our CEO, Ọgọ Ogbata (pronounced ‘or-gore or-gbata’) operates at a unique intersection of disciplines. Her background in Computer Science provides the structural logic and precision that underpin our “Sense” philosophy, while her life as an Artist informs the aesthetic soul and “Creativity” of our curations and collections.

Through this multifaceted lens, she synthesises these two worlds, transforming abstract inspiration into proprietary perspectives and actionable resources for a Smarter Living Architecture.

Ọgọ’s insights have been featured across prestigious global platforms, from her role as a guest expert for the BBC World Service to her contribution as a top voice for The Independent on Sunday.

Having addressed industry leaders at live seminars in historic venues such as Bush House on The Strand, London, she continues to shape modern discourse. Her thought leadership has been featured in specialist publications including Training Journal where she explored the intersection of professional productivity and creative vision.

From a young age, I fell in love with the quiet power of the written word and its ability to transform how we see the world. It was clear to me, even then, that positive words and images held transformative power.

During formative years, the encouragement of family and friends did more than just spur me on; it created the internal architecture I needed to persevere through rigorous challenges and excel in the pursuit of personal, technical and creative mastery.

However, I also lived at the intersection of two seemingly opposite worlds. My background in Computer Science trained my mind in systems, logic, and structural precision. Yet, my life as an Artist has always been driven by curiosity, imagination, colour, texture and the fluid expression of ideas.

I was often advised to choose one over the other—as if structure and creativity were incompatible. I chose not to see them as a contradiction, but rather as a necessary synergy and partnership. That synthesis became the founding philosophy behind Creativity and Sense: the belief that true intellectual clarity requires both structural discipline and artistic freedom.

The Shift: Rediscovering Creativity…

After years of leading strategic seminars, working with business growth teams, and addressing audiences across platforms like the BBC World Service, I took the opportunity for a sabbatical – an extended blend of travel and rest that provided the essential space to breathe, refresh, and rejuvenate. As chaotic world events unfolded, that space for reflection deepened.

In this season, I rediscovered my childhood passion for art and design. Suddenly I was transported to a distant past, vividly remembering: the messy stain of watercolour paint on wooden furniture as I drenched pencil sketches with vibrant colours in my youthful exuberance. I could almost smell the spirited scent of the paint and feel its stickiness on my fingers as I experimented with slender brushes.

This time, however, the art flowed with a new ease – less messy and profoundly nourishing to my soul. In that creative immersion, I found a sense of fulfilment and happiness that was entirely distinct from professional achievement.

Art pieces which soon became personal gifts for friends and colleagues were well received, quickly revealing that in environments saturated with noise, we often need physical, meaningful anchors to ground our thoughts and restore our perspective. While creativity is essential for navigating today’s world, it remains the missing spark for far too many.

The Mission

I created Studio.CreativityandSense to offer those anchors. In partnership with fine art print houses and master framers, we produce museum-grade works executed on archival stocks. Every piece—whether an open edition print or a serialised limited edition—is designed to serve as a quiet focal point in private studies, executive boardrooms, and intentional living spaces.

Success is deeply personal. For me, it is not about superficial status or keeping pace with external expectations, but about cultivating a life of deliberate purpose, quiet focus, and meaningful impact.

Thank you for exploring our collections. I hope you find the pieces that speak to your own journey.
